Pakistan Is Important Partner : US | KNO

The United States says Pakistan is its important partner and both countries have benefitted from the bilateral cooperation. These remarks were made by US State Department spokesperson, Heather Nauert at a briefing a day after President Trump's remarks against Pakistan in a tweet that evoke strong reaction from Pakistani government. The spokesperson said both countries try to work carefully together on the regional issues. To a question about Pakistan's help in rescuing the Canadian-American couple from Taliban captivity, he said the US government was pleased with the cooperation by Pakistan.
